For your consideration…
Today is Ash Wednesday. For Christians it begins the season of Lent where we do repent and fast. It is the 40 days that lead to the death and rise of Jesus Christ.
Today’s message calls us to “beginnings and endings.” It calls us the cycles of life and death.
Endings produce new beginnings. Through death there is new life. These are truths for all of our lives. We are simply asked to pause, reflect, repent, and make necessary changes. This is life.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Laundry day.
-Catching up with Mary
-A good DKG meeting.
-A good book.
