Truth

For your consideration…

So many messages remind us to listen but always ask the question, “Is it true?” Recently one of our messages reminded us to ask this. Why is this important? Truth is like love. We can’t heal without it. We can’t see without it. Any foundation that is not based on solid truth will always be weak and shaky.

Today’s message tells us to not be afraid of truth. What we are hearing or seeing may not be what we want. It may be inconvenient. But it is still our best way forward. It will keep us in the light or lead us to it. We are asked to never settle for anything but the truth from others or ourselves.

I love this quote from the Course of Miracles;

“Let us together follow in the way that truth points out to us.

And let us be the leaders of our many brothers who are seeking for the way, but find it not.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Remember…Truth is the only way forward.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A 2.25 mile hike.

-Breakfast with Mojdeh.

-Mary and Andrea came over to “shop” in my basement for supplies for the twins grad party.

-Beth and I went to the show and then out to dinner.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Mary and Lori.
