For your consideration…

Probably all of us has heard the saying, “patience is a virtue,” all of lives. For sure this is true and I for one have spent a lifetime trying to master it.

Yet today we are reminded that there is balance in everything including patience. We are asked to take a hard look at our patience and make sure we are not using it a an excuse for procrastination and or passivity. That is the main part of today’s message.

The second part, goes with the above quote. Patience alone is not enough. True patience has to include a positive attitude and intention.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of al?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Practice true patience without judgment.

What made  me smile yesterday…

-A trip to the doctor for a sore throat check-up. Of course, the minute I left the house, I started feeling better.

-Lunch and shopping with Julie and Vicki.

-Some great gifts.

-Catching up with Mary, Joan, and Alex.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
