For your consideration…

I often remark about the many and unique ways messages come in. Today’s gave me a water polo example. I was shown a hand holding a water polo ball and then shooting. It emphasized that it was all in the wrist. Then I was given an example of my friend’s son, Tyler. He is always agreeable to come work. But evidently he doesn’t have much experience with some of the things we ask him to do. He doesn’t complain. He just goes right at the job. His words that we were given for today’s message are what Tyler says when he is done…”Wow, I learned something new. I love learning new things.”

So what our message boils down to is all about “trying.” We are asked to consider trying new things. Rather than approaching them with fear, approach them with excitement. No matter how successful…or not…our “try” is, we will learn something. We will gain experience(s). It is a good thing.

That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be excited to try new things and experiences.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A chill day.

-Our euchre party on Saturday is the last entertaining I will be doing before Thanksgiving so I started switching out the holiday decorations.

-Catching up with both my girls as well as granddaughter, Mackenzie.

-I started the last book the series I am reading.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
