For your consideration…

Today’s message makes me laugh because often my girls just shake their heads at me when we are out and they find me talking to a stranger. I am not sure why they find it funny but on my part, I don’t really consider anyone a stranger. They are simply people I haven’t met…yet.

We are asked today to notice when we are out and be aware of those around us and when we can lend a helping hand or helping words. Consider observing someone that seems lost. Don’t hesitate. Ask if you can help them. Or you see a people trying to get a good picture. Offer to take it for them. Or maybe you are in a restaurant or in a line somewhere and you hear people talking trying to figure something out or remember something. If you know, give it up. Tell them. Or maybe you see a senior who needs help carrying things. Help them out.Etc. Etc. Etc.

You get the point. Don’t let your time, talent, and love go to waste.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember….You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Don’t be shy. Help out.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-My sister is visiting.

-Breakfast with Shannon at Angelo’s.

-An estate sale.

-Bingo with Lisa, Dianne, Gary, Lori, and Vicki.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
