Hazy Days in Summer—What's the Cause?

For your consideration…

Hazy…With the wild fires in Canada, we have had a lot of hazy days. We aren’t used to it and I hear a lot of grumbling. I think it is helpful to remember that people in California, India, and other places in the world live with these conditions daily. It is all relative.

Today’s message is about “hazy” as in our mental and spiritual state. Sometimes we just are not clear on details or even the whole picture or problem let alone the solutions. But this is ok. Sometimes we are not ready for the clarity we seek. Sometimes we are meant to do some more seeking. Sometimes more pieces to the puzzle need to be found first. Sometimes there are more steps that need to be completed.

The bottom line is that sometimes “hazy” is good for us or at least in our best interest at this time.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember, hazy isn’t always bad. Be patient.

What made me smile yesterday…

-PJ’s all day.

-Odds and ends cleaned up.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Alex.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
