For your consideration…

Who knew there could be thunder and lightning during a blizzard? I didn’t. During last night’s blizzard, I saw flashes of light and thought,”A transformer or down lines must be the cause.” Then as I heard roaring I thought, “Trees must be coming down.” As it kept happening, I realized it was thunder and lightning in a fierce blizzard.

So, I learned something new. Which reminds us that we are never to old to learn and experience knew things. Mother Nature is a powerful teacher.

I opened my eyes this morning to sparkling beauty; a shining sun, bright blue skies, sparkling untouched white snow. Mother Earth reminded me to be grateful.

Those are our lessons today; learn new things, appreciate the power of Mother Nature, and be grateful for the beauty of Mother Earth.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of a..?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Learn new things.

-Practice gratitude.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Robins are back. Spring is on her way.

-Doing a reading and catching up with Judy. This is my first reading since I came back from vacation. It felt good and it felt good to chat and catch up with a friend.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-Binge watching some taped shows.

-Chili on a snowy night.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
