For your consideration…

It makes us sad when we have disagreements with others. It makes us especially sad if we have them with those we care about. It seems like the deeper the feelings the harder the disagreements. But no matter who they are with. they are toxic to our own souls. We know this. And we know that we have to resolve them. And if we can’t, then we need to find a way to let them go.

Of course, it is always better if we can resolve differences, make amends, and move on. It takes all of the parties involved to do that. But sometimes, the other party does not want to do that. They are so angry or hurt, feel invested in being right, entrenched in being the injured party, etc., they don’t want to resolve the dispute and move on.

This is where today’s message comes in. If we can not resolve differences with the involved parties, then we have to let go of them ourselves. We have to rid the toxicity within ourselves. Holding on to negative energy is harmful. It taints everything else in our lives.

It does not take two to do this. We hold the power to keep our own souls clean and clear. We are reminded that this is for our highest good and the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let go of negative energy.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Alex made it to Yakima.

-Catching up with Lori and Rod on their move home.

-Don is home and still doing well.

-Mackenzie stopped in to pick up the prime rib and lobster for Christmas.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
