For your consideration…

Thoughts are the first steps in our dreams. Thoughts reveal our perceived reality. Thoughts reveal our fears. Our thoughts may or may not be true. They may be perceptions or illusions. Perhaps we remember times when we do something and then ask ourselves, “What was I thinking?” We suddenly see more clearly what our wrong thinking was.

Our message today simply reminds us that if we are not where we want to be, if the world is not where we want it to be, evaluate our thoughts. What are we thinking? Is it true? Is it right thinking? What are our thoughts creating?

“We are what we think. All that we area rises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.

Speak or act with a pure mind and happiness will follow you as your shadow, unshakeable.

That is the HOPE And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Check in on our thoughts. Where are they taking us? Ask the question, “Is it ture?”

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A good walk with Julie.

-Successful shopping for our Christmas surf and turf dinner. I often complain about the Kroger store near me. However, they went above and beyond. I needed a prime rib bigger than any they had. The butcher was not there. The sale specified one per customer. One of the women who work the meat counter said, “Would it work if you took two and I will rewrap them onto one try?” That worked and saved me lots of money.

-My eye doctor has started me on a new plan for my dry eyes. HOPEfully this works.

-Gratitude for my eyesight dry eyes and all. I sat next to a girl in her 20’s who was going blind. Yet she had such a positive outlook.

-A good book.
