For your consideration……

I love this picture I found on the internet. It is a pretty good summary of how I try to live my life. Today’s message is again about affirmations. I know we have talked about them before but they are important and worth a revisit. Plus we have an “exclamation point” to put on them.

When we have dreams, wishes, goals, desires etc. we want to come to fruitition, affirmations are a good tool to align our mind and soul. We need this alignment because it is not enough to just think or affirm something. We need to feel it is true as well. We need to be able to act like it is true. Positive affirmations bring clarity and specifics to our desires and help pull up those appropriate corresponding feelings.

People who attend Christian churches frequently hear, “and so it is” at the end of a sermon or prayer. And so it is” is the exclamation point. It is the phrase that jump starts or kicks off the action.

So today we are reminded that we too can jump start our affirmations. We can put an extra punch into them but using “and so it is” at the end of our affirmations. Just a simple little phrase that carries a lot of punch.

Isn’t it great? Don’t you just love when we get these little life gems? That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Try and do at least one exercise, stretch or walk.

-Journal a desire, dream, goal etc. and write a corresponding affirmation to go with it. Don’t forget the “and so it is.”

What made me smile yesterday…..

-A great day at school.

-A very happy Alex.

-Bruce helped with the vaccuming. Wahoo.

-My friend, Carol, came to stay with me for a few days.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
