For your consideration…

My actual message included ducks but of course, there were no images of that because ducks can fly…duh. No matter, the message is the same.

We often go with the flow. We are taught that that is a good thing. We often go with the majority. We often follow along with someone we feel is wiser or more informed. After all, no one knows everything.

Ah hah, and this is where our message comes in. No one knows everything. No one is right all of the time.

If you get that gut feeling that something isn’t right about a person or situation,

TRUST IT.”

It doesn’t matter if we know the right answer or not. If our gut is telling us this isn’t it, IT ISN’T IT. Period. End of story.

I used to volunteer for the Domestic Violence Safe House. This is something we stressed all of the time….100%. If you feel like someone is watching you, believe it is true. If you feel like someone has been in your home, believe it as true. If you feel like you need to change up plans, do it. Your instinct is protecting you. Your Guidance is protecting you. Your job is to trust it.

Of course, this is an extreme example. But it is true for all things, all people, all situations. We are asked to trust our gut.

That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Trust our instincts…our gut.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Jackie and Alex.

-Baking.

-Relaxing.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
