For your consideration…

Don’t worry. Notice that “because I said so” is not part of today’s message. I am sure we all have memories of our childhood and that answer.

“Just because” in today’s message celebrates randomness…the unexpected. It is that just becausefor no reason…action that makes it so special. Those are the moments that tell someone that you think about them and they mean something to you and vice versa. Think about how we feel when someone gives us a gift and it isn’t our birthday or Christmas is a good example. Another would be when they show up to help you out without being asked.

I remember when I broke my back. My husband, Bruce, learned to make coffee. Not only would he constantly check to see if I needed my cup filled, but he would also bring it to me and place it so the handle was at the right angle for me to pick it up with the minimum amount of twisting. That showed me he noticed what I like and how I do things.

Let us also think about our relationship with our Guidance. Those random thoughts, creative ideas, new solutions, etc. that seemingly show up out of nowhere are gifts…just because we are loved and cared about.

Let us remember and notice how special just because is.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?’

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate just because. Practice just because.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A warm home.

-A fun Collette Baron Reid zoom call.

-A productive and good zoom call with Terah about my book.

-Christmas cards done and ready to go out.

-Catching up with both my girls.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
