For your consideration…

As I write this, it is still dark out. I have no idea on whether or not the sun will shine today where I am or where you are. Yet we know that the sun is shining somewhere today whether we see it or not. Even in the darkness of night we know that it is shining somewhere else. Mother Earth blesses here on Mother Earth.

Today our message uses the sun as an example of HOPE. I have a painting in my room gifted to me by my daughter and son-in-law who stayed lived with me when my husband passed. The painting is of a beautiful young girl holding on to a door and looking around it. The painting is entitled, “HOPE Around the Corner.”

This is exactly what we are asked to remember. No matter how dark things might seem there is always HOPE…around the corner, in the darkness…in lonliness as well as in the sunlight and good times.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Fan the flames of HOPE.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Our Amtrak adventure has been perfection so far. We met every stop on time. The service was excellent. The people we me were all friendly.

-We had no problems finding Jody and loading us all up.

-First IHop breakfast in a long time.

-A stop at the grocery store before we headed up the hill.

-And just like that we were to Jody’s cabin and sitting on the porch with cocktails and a gorgeous view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Life is definitely good.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
