For your consideration…

I woke up with the annoying song, “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better.” I sat with it and questioned was this really the message. Seriously, it sounds bratty, boisterous, not nice.

I have been asked by some people that I study with, why I question…argue sometimes…with my Guides. For me…I stress for me…communication with my Guidance is a two-way conversation. I have never questioned that. If I don’t understand something, I ask for clarification. If I don’t want to do something or disagree, I say so. I never win these disagreements but I am always gently and lovingly guided to move forward. And I am always given what I need to succeed. I think this note is part of today’s message.

Saying, “Anything you can do I can do better.” is not necessarily negative. That is why I choose today’s picture. I knew it was right the minute I saw it. I think we may have had this message before because this picture looks very familiar. Competition can be fun. It can help us to grow, get better. Teasing each other can be fun. What makes the difference is intention.

The final part of today’s message speaks to jealousy. We are reminded that we all are born exactly perfect for our life purpose. Each of us does things better/worse than one another. We are often asked to suspend judgment. So we might think, “Yeah, judgment is inherent to competition.” And again, it is intention. When judgment is a noun used as a tool, it carries no negativity. When judgment is used as a verb, it carries the energy of its intention. Example; I can not sing. I wish I could. I admire people who can. But I have to be honest. If everyone sang like me, there would be no music in the world. So I choose to be grateful for the things other people do better than me. And I choose to assume that they are grateful for the things I can do better than them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be grateful for the talent of others and of our own.

What made me smile yesterday…

-My solar system is back online. It was working but I could not track it. Hmmm seems I did not connect its internet connection when I changed my wifi.

-Some writing and crafting done. Knock on wood. I am sticking to the commitment I set for myself.

-Catching up with Mary, Kathy, and Bob.

-Video chatting with Alex and Conner.

-Friends, Julie and Vicki, came for dinner. Jul treated with Chinese.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
