For your consideration…

Sometimes…like now…the world looks to be struggling. In turn, we can struggle to stay in HOPE and love. No doubt this is why we are given the Prayer of St. Francis and also some things to remember; we are never alone, light always conquers darkness, love always triumphs over evil, the power each of us possesses, and the power of prayer.We are asked to volunteer and contribute where and when we can and always use the power of our own prayers.

Peace Prayer of Saint Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved. I am love.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Use our personal power for good.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Lunch with Shannon, AJ, Mac, Anna, and Pria to celebrate our  birthdays.

-Great gifts. I am not sure if this is my fifth or sixth Kindle. No surprise…I where them out.

-Exciting my car it heard “ping” as I was closing my car door. I thought I better look and I did I found my favorite earring jacket on the ground. I looked around and sure enough found my garnet earring under the car. I am so grateful.

-On the Michigan Lottery app daily free spin I had won a free $20 ticket. This was last week. It turnsd out to be a $100 winner. I never win anything. I am so grateful.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Cathy.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
