For your consideration…

We have many messages about being specific with our intentions, making sure our body, mind, and spirit are in sync.

Our message today is specific to “apologies.”

Insincere apologies are just clutter. They may be the right words but without the sincere intention behind them, they are empty. Let me give some specific examples; the Black Lives Matter Movement, the Women’s Movement…actually all movements. To apologize for something you have not done, something you do not believe in is disingenuous. It is empty. It does no good. It clutters and weakens those apologies that are sincere.

If you are not a racist or part of the patriarchy, do not apologize. This goes for all movements. This does not mean that we can not or should not be sympathetic for the struggles of others. Our hearts can hurt for others. We can say that. We can regret the negative hurtful things that have happened to others. We can, and should, be part of a positive loving change if our body, mind, and spirit lead us there.

We can effect change. But our intentions have to be real.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be sincere and specific with our intentions,,,including apologies.”

What made me smile yesterday…

-A good morning walk with Louie. We are so happy the streets are clear.

-Catching up with Mary and Alex.

-Several cards made. Some days just go like that. It is easier when you are back in the swing of things.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
