For your consideration…

We are born with a purpose. We may not always know what that is but we do know that we are a work in progress. Being me may not always seem easy but we are better at it than anyone else. We are the experts. We come with our own training manual called Our Guidance. We may not always refer to it but it is always available unless we misplace it. In such times all we have to do is get silent and call them up. They will find us.

We are asked today to trust that we are where we need to be. We are who we need to be. We just have to be willing to put in the work to grow into our full potential.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…”I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be ourselves.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A great day with family and friends.

-Catching up with Cathy and Alex.

-A great dinner.

-A good book.

-After everyone left, I sat down to catch a little nap. I went to turn on the TV and could not find the remote. I looked everywhere convinced whoever used it last put it where it made sense to them and I just wasn’t seeing it. I texted everyone. No answer. Finally, I called my son-in-law, Will. He knew Mac was the last one to use it. She said where she thought it was but it wasn’t there so he told her to come back over and help me find it. I was sure everyone thought I was nuts and that I just wasn’t seeing it. Mac came in and immediately looked everywhere I looked. We hit the “find remote” button on the receiver and could not hear anything. At this point I am thinking it got thrown away or the dog took it outside. Then I thought and said, “Mac, I had you take some things to your car maybe you had it in your hand.” She went out and checked, and then saw that the remote had fallen into a gift bag Mary had given her.” Problem solved. I was relieved I wasn’t nuts and had her drive all the way back over here for nothing and relieved that she was still in town and not all the way back to Dexter.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
