For your consideration…

I loved that I found this Joel Osteen quote. It is a perfect embellishment to today’s message.

Our message today was exactly this, “Do not focus on what is right and what is wrong. Focus on doing the best we can in each moment.”

So often we  hear phrases like, “They know right from wrong.” “Do the right thing.”…etc. That sounds good. It sounds right until we take a step back and remember that we are to live without judgment. It is not our job to judge. It is not in our wheelhouse. Our job is ourself. Our job is to do the best we know how in each moment. We are asked to quit getting stuck on what is right and wrong…spinning our wheels… and simply do the best we can.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of others.

-Believe/know that we have everything we need to take that step to live each moment to perfection.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A wonderful down day.

-Babysitting Conner while Alex went out.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
