For your consideration…

The message came in via the phrase and book title, “Do what you love and the money will follow.”

Our message was modified to “Do what you love and joy will follow.”

The focus today is on two things the first being that, of course, we all have to do some things that we don’t necessarily want to do. But we have the power and control to find and do things that do make us happy and bring us joy.

This brings us to the second part of the message. It is our personal responsibility to use that power and control to bring joy to our lives. Our joy is for our highest good and the highest good of all.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-If we are having trouble finding or maintaining our joy, this would be a good time to do a “T” chart. One side chores or tasks and the other side things we love to do. We can look for ways to incorporate the two.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-I got an appointment scheduled for my sub-zero repair…at least the initial analysis. The install of our solar power went so well except for them taking out my frig.

-Which prompted me to do what I have wanted to do for years…get a frig for the garage. I can’t tell you the number of times I need the extra frig space that I end up using coolers for.

-I am blessed to have my good friend, Julie, sit with Bruce so I could go to the visitation of a friend who passed.

-I ran into UAW ladies I worked with at Shirley’s visitation. It is sad when we lose friends but seeing people we haven’t seen in a long time is a blessing.

-Having dinner with Janet.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
