For your consideration…

Ugh…I can hear everyone now. Who wants a message about exercising? I know what we mean. Some…a few…I think…get super excited about the exercising. Most of us tend to think of it as a necessary chore.

We know that we need to exercise for our physical health. We can see the results when we do and when we don’t. Today’s message is about “exercising” the many other pieces of our lives.

Much more is being written about exercising the brain. Like anything else, without stimulation….exercise…parts start to shut down. Exercising it through, conversations, interactions, puzzles, games, reading, writing etc. are all great ways to exercise our brain.

We are reminded everyday to meditate/pray. Our soul…our spirit…our authentic self need stimulation/exercise, as well. It is how we grow into our life purpose.

When we exercise, how often do we exercise our face. Yoga often includes facial exercise…wide lion mouth, tongue out, roar like a lion. It seems silly, but why wouldn’t our face need exercise.

Laughing out loud and smiling are also good facial exercises. They also are great for our body and our soul. Making a conscious effort to laugh more is a good exercise for each of us.

We are reminded today that everything valuable takes exercise…practice. It is a blessing that exercise and practice is something we have control of. We can choose it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Exercise every aspect of our life to grow it and make it more fulfilling.

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-A good water aerobics class.

-A beautiful sunny day.

-An afternoon in the sun.

-A good book.

-Catching up with both my girls.
