For your consideration…

Again, I just have to laugh at how our messages come in. Today it is via my own words that I must have said 1000 times.

Recently, my sister-in-law visited me here on vacation. She stayed for about 3 weeks. A couple of days into the visit, I told her she had to get a new phone. Hers would only charge to 73% after charging for 24 hours. So off we went. Halfway through the process, her daughter called protested that she was getting another Android versus an IPhone. As it turned out it was the best choice for a number of reasons. But her daughter’s point was that she needed a lot of help with the phone and it is more difficult for them to help her because they all have IPhones. While Cathy says she has a hard time getting them to come help her, her daughter says they help her all of the time and wished me luck getting her squared away.

So the training began. I see both sides point. As I tried to understand Cathy’s thinking, I tried to come up with consistent words that would stick and a process that she could use when she was stuck, didn’t know where she was, or how to do something” One of the phrases I used over and over was, “When in doubt, go home.” I would tell her to think about what she wanted to do and start from home.

“Go home.” That is today’s message. We are reminded that our NATURAL state is love and peace. HOPEfully we will learn to go home, our authentic self, more and more until we live from there 24/7. But most likely we are not there yet. Most often we notice this when we are having negative feelings ie.; anger, sadness, fear, anxiety, stress etc. When we have these feelings, we are reminded to go home. Go within, go silent and feel the peace and love there. Ask our Guidance for help. Then start again.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Affirm…“My natural state…home…is love and peace. It is everything else that is an illusion. I can go at any moment.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Warmer temps.

-A good book.

-Catching up with both my girls.

-A good walk.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
