For your consideration…

As soon as I heard this today, I knew it was for the blog.

How many of us waste away much of Sunday worrying about Monday? We cheat ourselves out of much of our free day dedicating it to Monday. I must say I am guilty of this. So guilty in fact that my favorite day is now Sunday because normally I don’t have to think about work on Monday. Even when I teach, it is not the same as when I worked my career. My husband is the same way. We celebrate Sunday. We love our Sunday.

Today’s message encourages us to let go of worrying about tomorrow and do all that we can do to make today the very best it can be. Open up to receive its blessings. That is the very best thing we can do for tomorrow.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…’What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?’

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Write down the above affirmation. Every time we start to worry about tomorrow, we can read it and remind ourselves to let tomorrow go.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Three closets cleaned.

-Bags ready for donation.

-Winter and summer clothes switched and winter break bag packed.

-After 2 years, I found a missing gold earring jacket. It was one of my favorites. I never gave up and kept its mate. It felt like a reward for my hard work.

-Patio furniture, planters, etc. put back together.

-Catching up with Dianne, Mary, Alex, Jackie, and Jody.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
