For your consideration…

Our message encourages us to not act in haste when we are under duress, stressed out, confused, sad, etc. We are anxious to have these negative feelings resolved. We want to get rid of them. But acting in haste may not be the best resolution. It can add to the problems further down the road.

We are reminded today of our breath. It is with us constantly…every moment we are alive….from the moment we are born to the moment we die. Rather than act without clear thinking and due consideration, we are told to pause, take a breath and another until we feel calm and fully prepared to make wise and informed decisions.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

can

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Pause, breathe, think, act.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-John’s military service was beautiful. Exactly, right.

-John’s best friend and his wife did hosted a wonderful luncheon.

-Cathy and I met Regina, Michelle, Maureen, and Kalin for dinner. We always miss each other and are determined to make the most of the opportunity to spend time together.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
