For your consideration…

We can never have too many messages about HOPE.

Our message today reminds us that it is HOPE that keeps light in the darkest of times. It keeps our soul alive when it is breaking. It keeps us fighting when we feel like we must give up. It summons us to action when we think there is none. It keeps fear from overtaking all rational thought.

HOPE is a necessary tool put in the life tool box we were born into this life with. Like any tool, it needs routine maintenance to stay in optimum condition. We can do this by being grateful. We can do this by remembering that there has always been sunshine after darkness. We can feed our HOPE with love and joy. We can believe it and stay true to it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Stoke your HOPE.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day. I can not remember a more beautiful summer in Michigan.

-Lots done in prep for my trip.

-A great family dinner to send Mac off to college.

-Catching up with Alex.

-Stephie and Tyler  got married their way. I couldn’t be happier for this wonderful couple.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
