For your consideration…

Today is my daughter, Alex’s, birthday. She is a Naval aviator. It is a dangerous job so, of course, we worry. I remember her response one time when I asked her about her day. She had flown and I didn’t think it was the greatest of weather. She responded, “Mom, it was cloudy. We fly above the clouds where it is always sunny.”

That is exactly what our message is about. It is always sunny above the clouds. There is always a solution on the other side of a problem. There is always a blessing on the other side of an obstacle.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meidtate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Go for a walk. Get outside and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Wait for the blessings on the other side.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Kitchen all put back together. So glad to be on the other side of that project.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-A good book.

-I thought I would take a quick ride out to the nursery. I passed crowds of people on the side of the road and lots of law enforcement. I rolled down my window to ask what was happening. I must be the only one who didn’t know the President was coming 3  miles from my house. I guess that happens when you quit the news.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris

Happy Birthday, Alex!
