For your consideration…

It is very interesting how today’s message came in. Sometimes we get our message via a song, animal, flower etc. The message came in as “The Law of Attraction.” Then there was an additional part to it via a blue jay. I was confused. Is the message The Law of Attraction or the blue jay? The answer is both. The blue jay is the validation to the message as well as what needs to be emphasized.

I am sure that every one is familiar with The Law of Attraction. Basically it reminds us that we get what we expect. If we are focused on the negative, the negative shows up. If we focus on the positive, the positive shows up. This is because the Universe has no judgement. It delivers what we dwell on. If we dwell on lace, we get lack. If we focus on abundance, we get abundance. If we focus on how miserable this whole virus thing is, we will be miserable. If we focus making the most and learning from it, we will be happy and grow during it. You get the point.

So where does the blue jay come in? Blue jays remind us to  use our power wisely. It is easy to get annoyed when we are surrounded by doom and gloom. It is easy to get annoyed when we hear dire predictions, fear, anger etc. But taking on all of that negative energy and reflecting it back does not positively serve us or the highest good.

When confronted with negativity, fear, anger, dire predictions, this is our opportunity to use our power wisely. It is our opportunity to gently turn the negativity around to one of love, calmness, excitement etc.

There is a positive to every negative. The smallest light eliminates all darkness. When given the opportunity, we are asked to use our power gently and wisely.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.” Nothing can destroy that.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Use our power wisely and gently at every opportunity.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A little yard work.

-A beautiful spring day.

-A great dinner of ceasar salad with homemade dressing, a frittata and homemade focaccia bread. So good.

-Catching up with Cathy.

-A good mystery.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
