For your consideration….

If you are expecting cliff notes on the book, I’m OK, You’re OK, you are out of luck. I have not read it. Perhaps I should. No matter though, today’s message is really an “AND” to that title.

We have many messages, probably almost every day if not directly stated, than implied, that we are perfect. We were perfectly and uniquely designed for our unique life purpose. No one else can do us and we can’t do anyone else thus I’m OK and you’re OK.

Today’s message adds on to I’m OK, you’re OK. It qualifies it. The qualifier is personal responsibility. We have personal responsibility to live our best self to the best of our ability. We have personal responsibility to do no harm. Just because we are “OK” does not give us a free license to do harm or be lazy or not try to live up to our full potential.

I’m OK, you’re OK means we CAN do it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of others.

-Live our life to the best of our ability. NO judgment. Some days we are just better than others.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A beautiful day.

-A luncheon here for my teachers group. I know why teachers are underpaid. It is because generally, they expect so little for themselves and they are so appreciative of the littlest things done for or given to them.

-Our lunch was also a planning meeting. I could not believe how productive we were.

-Beth had a great idea. After the meeting could she stay on and we plan our newsletter. Hey, I am all for killing two birds with one stone. Again, we were soooo productive. You all know how I feel about that. Wahoo!

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
