For your consideration…

The Lovin’ Spoonful’s song “Do You Believe in Magic?” ushered in today’s message. The magic is having an open heart to hear the music that will “free your soul.

“How the magic’s in the music and the music’s in me.”

This is the season for believing. We say it to the children but somehow over the years we exempt ourselves. We are reminded today that just because we stop believing in Santa Claus does not mean that we should stop believing in the magic of the Universe.

Indeed the magic Santa Clause pales in comparison to the magic of the Universe. Every single day miracles surround us. It is the magic of the Universe that creates them. It is the magic of the Universe that solves problems, creates solutions and gets us exactly where we are supposed to be, with exactly the right people at exactly the right time.

We are not short of magic. We are short of believers. To see and receive magic we must believe in it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Drink lots of water.

-Believe.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A PJ day the entire day.

-A good book.

-Baking and cooking.

-Wrapping presents. I love to wrap.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
