For your consideration…

It shouldn’t be yet is is hard for most of us to stay present in our authentic self. We know that we need to show up 24/7 authentically, yet over and over again we cave to the pressures of  everyone and everything around us. Thus we meditate, pray and work hard to be authentic.

Today we are asked to find time to just sit with ourselves. If we can meditate, fine, but it is not necessarily the goal. The goal…our mission…is to sit with me, myself and I. Let thoughts and feelings come and go gently. Gently release them with gratitude. Just sit with you, breathing gently. Sit with yourself until you are at complete peace. Welcome home.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.” “I am love.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Sit with yourself until you feel at complete peace and at home.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A wonderful affirmation via my friend Judy. She can not possibly know what her phone call meant to me. Thank you, Judy.

-An unusually warm day and sunny for much of it.

-Outside lights put out.

-So happy to see most of our neighbors show up for a meeting about our neighborhood.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-A good book.
