“Love Is Alive”
written by Kent M. Robbins

Love ain’t a candle
It doesn’t burn for one night
And need the dark to shine
Love is alive
And love ain’t just a word
In every dictionary
With no where defined
Love is a man and he’s mine
Love is alive
And at our breakfast table
Everyday of the week
Love is alive
And it grows everyday and night
Even in our sleep
Love is alive
And it’s made a happy woman out of me
Oh, love is alive
And here by me
Love ain’t just a mood
A distant far away dream
That needs the night to rise
Love is alive
And love ain’t just a song
Sweet words of music
To go dancin’ by
Love is a man and he’s mine
Love is alive, here by me
For your consideration….
You know I love when we get our message via song. For me it is like opening a present when I go to look up the lyrics. Today’s song does not disappoint.
We are reminded that we need love. It is all around us. It is up to us to seek it out. It is up to us to be full participants, to grow it and spread it wherever we go in whatever we do.
We are also reminded that real love, true love, by its definition never dies as quoted by Mitch Albom, “Love is how you stay alive, even after you’re gone.”
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Find, create and share love.
What made me smile yesterday…
-Lots of tasks done.
-Wow, exercise goes fast when you visit with an interesting friend.
-Taco Tuesday with Pam and Tim. Fun….fun…fun.
-A good book.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Rev. Chris
