For your consideration….

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a passionate advocate for women. The 60’s movement stoked HOPE in my heart and fire in my belly. Gradually I, like I think many women became disillusioned. I felt shut out. So here we are 50 years later, where we are still talking about equal rights for women, a “me too movement, debates on why we didn’t get a woman president etc. Why? What happened?

The women’s movement splintered and faltered because they defined what it took to be feminine. They told women what the should think, what their values should be, who they should vote for etc….and….they judged those who did not share them. They set up marches for women and then tell what women’s groups can attend. They exclude whole groups of women.

The Divine Feminine is much larger than the women’s movement. The Divine Feminine is the spiritual woman. It is the woman who embodies wisdom. inclusiveness, partnership, love and HOPE. The Divine Feminine does not seek to squelch of minimize the masculine. It seeks the full partnership. It seeks the marriage of both.

The Divine Feminine is unafraid because it knows its true power. Think about it. Only she can give birth. Yes, she needs a donor, but only she can give birth. Consider that. Likewise it is the Divine Feminine that will ultimately birth a peaceful world through her ideas, counseling, wisdom, love, guidance, HOPE and partnerships.

Consider again, it only takes a donor for a woman to give birth. Yet how much better is it when that birth is a result of a true partnership? How much better when that partnership is one of love?

It is time for women to step up into the power of the Divine Feminine. We are asked to be the teachers, the counselors and seek partnerships that include all. We are asked to birth a new world as it is meant to be. That does not mean be doormats or give away any part of our power. It means stand firm in it with confidence, love and HOPE and be the example.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE actions steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Keep moving.

-Stand firm in your Divine Feminine Power.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Fabulous high schoolers.

-A beautiful day.

-A good book.

-A good highest sleep.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
