For your consideration….

Our message today talks about the decisions we make.

We make thousands of decisions each day. They range from the minute and seemingly menial to life changing. If we were without judgment, we would realize that they are all equal. But most of us when faced with decisions don’t remember that.

It is impossible for us to make correct decisions 100% of the time. It is natural for us to evaluate and say “I could have done that better.” or “I wish I would have made a different choice.” or “That was a bad decision.” etc. Honest evaluation is a valuable tool to help us become the best we can be. It helps us grow. It is productive.

What is unproductive and even destructive is when we dwell on it. We are told today. What’s done is done. Get over it. Let it go. Commit to using our experience to make better decisions from this moment on and move on.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Spend as much time with Mother Nature as you can.

-Commit to living with your decisions by letting them go.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Great students.

-Fun students. Here’s an example:

“Ms. Adams?”

“Yes?”

“Johnny scared the HELL our of me!”

“I’m sorry to hear that. HELL is probably not the best language to use in school.”

Pause…”Oh, yeah, sorry.”

-A trip to Stillwater.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
