For your consideration….

“I am here to change the world and I am not alone.” author unknown.

We are born with a purpose. Some people are obsessive about it and some people give very little thought to their life purpose. The gap is huge covering everything in between.

How we find our life purpose is most often the question. “I accept I have one but how do I find out what it is?”

Our message today tells us to follow the clues. Pay attention. See and listen to what is put in your path…..each and every day and night we are getting clues. Ask the questions ie; who, what, when, why and how. There are no coincidences so what is the purpose of what you are seeing, hearing and feeling. Write down and analyze your dreams. They are all clues. Remember they do not have to be huge events. Most of our clues are small imbedded in our daily life.

How do we know if we are correctly understanding our clues? We notice how we feel. If we are on target, we feel good. We feel loved even if it is something lost, sad or a mistake we made. Our action feels right. Perhaps we righted a wrong. Perhaps we learned a lesson. Perhaps we made someone’s day. Perhaps we learned something new. Perhaps we took a chance. Perhaps we started something. Perhaps we did something spur of the moment. Perhaps we made a needed change etc. etc. etc.

The clues are there. There is no doubt about that. Noticing and figuring them out is our challenge. Be excited about the challenge.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Listen, feel….see…follow the clues.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Fun first graders and watching them playing in the rain.

-Lunch leftovers from Paesano’s.

-Dinner and the movies with Bruce and Bob.

-We must be predicable. Our Alex called us immediately after we got in our car. “Where have you guys been? No one is answering anywhere. I was getting worried.” Note to self leave a message if we are unexpectedly going to be out for the night.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
