For your consideration…..

Today’s message comes in via “American Ninja Warriors.” Don’t you love it? I tell you this because we all get messages. Our Guidance is constantly talking to us, trying to get our attention both in the wake and dream state. I love “American Ninja Warriors” (ANW) so it is not surprising that it would be used so I could understand the message.

Today’s message is about playing smart. Often on AMW the announcers point out how the contestants use their legs, elbows, and body momentum to help conserve upper body strength. Or they point out how contestants observe the contestants in front of them to better strategize their own attempt.

That’s what today’s message is about observing and using our resources to our advantage. Often, especially women, we tend to “handle” everything ourselves. We’re multi-taskers. Asking or accepting help is a last resort. We feel it diminishes us. Today we’re told that is opposite of how we should be operating. We should always look at the resources (people, places, things, Guidance) surrounding us. Our first choice should be to use them to our and their best advantage. We should always be striving to be successful in the most efficient way so that we have the strength, confidence and emotional stability to handle the bigger, tougher life challenges.

When we use the resources surrounding us, we are in essence gathering a coalition. We are strengthening a support system, not just for us but for others as well. Think about it. Would you be more likely to ask for help from someone you have helped or someone you haven’t? Just like we heard the other day. It is a chicken or egg situation. Someone has to go first.

There are no coincidences. We are exactly where we are supposed to be….and so are the people, places and things….we are sharing the moment with. We are in it together. We are asked to be efficient and use all that surrounds us to make each moment the best it can be.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Work it together.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Listening to the singing and chatting of the golf car pool kids.

-I cooked a “seafood” lunch. They loved it. They all thanked me. But I loved when I heard their neighbor, Alex, say, “Amazing” when he was walking away. Now that made it soooo worth the effort.

-Finally heard from our own Alex. No wonder I slept in.

-Having a drink and reading settling into the night.

-Finally, a night cool enough to turn the air off and open the window.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
