For your consideration…….

This beautiful day has been gifted to us. More than that it has been entrusted into our care.

We are being asked to accept this gift with the spirit of love, joy and peace it was intended. In turn we are asked to add and imprint our own spirit on it. We are asked to take responsibility for making it the best it can be.

Where we find joy and happiness we are asked to add our own. Where we find despair we are asked to give comfort. Where we find anger, we are asked to give calmness. Where we find anxiety we are asked to give peace. Where were we see irritation, we are asked to offer some humor or a smile. Where there is fun, join in and contribute your own.

You get the picture. We are being asked to be the catalyst to turn things around where necessary and/or increase the happiness, love and joy  that already exists. Live this day with the intention of bringing your perfect spirit to each moment.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray…..let your authentic self lead your way.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep cleansing breaths.

-Intend for this day to be all it can be.

What made me smile yesterday……

-My Kindergarten class. As they were signing in, one of my students says, “Ms. Adams you look different today.” I bravely ask, “How so?” She now has a young man also analyzing. “I don’t know, maybe it is your makeup.” Again, I am brave and say, “So do I look better or worse.” “Oh, better!” she says. I explain, “Well, my makeup is the same but my daughter did give me a new face cream. I will tell her it is working.” Ahhh, an answer they can accept and live with.

-A really smooth day.

-Mary, our ever nervous traveler.

-Catching up with Jackie. I forgot to tell her the story about my observant student. She is the one who recommended this face cream.

-New sheets and blankets that make us sleep like babies. No more fighting for the covers for us.

P.S. Today is Army/Navy football day. Brothers and comrades compete. God Bless and protect each one of these special men. If you are at the game, I wish you warmth while you have such great fun. For the rest of us watching from home, enjoy the game. Have fun.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
