For your consideration……

Believe it or not…..well, I’m sure you do…..today’s message is again about truth. I was reminded of an incident that happened a couple of days ago. When I got home from school, my husband was laughing and our conversation went like this;

He said, “Chris, you’ll never believe what I heard on the news today.”

“Probably not.” I responded.

“A father got a note home from school that his son was in big trouble at school for playing tag. Do you believe it?”

“Yes, I do. The students I had today are not allowed to play tag or have teams at recess.”

I only had to look at the dumbfounded look on his face to see truth staring back at me.

When we see truth and don’t want to deal with it because we are either too lazy, are procrastinators, don’t know what to do, are too shy to stand up for truth etc., then we simply add rules to eliminate the problem and everyone loses. We have a child who uses the game tag to be very aggressive. Rather than remove him correct the behavior we make a rule, no more tag. A child has hurt feelings or is angry about the team they are on today, so we make a rule no more teams.

It seems minor enough for recess in schools. But what we forget is that those students who are the abusers who ruined it for the entire class or school grow up. They grow up believing rules are for everyone but them. They grow up thinking that rules/laws should be changed for them. They grow up thinking that it is never fair for there to be winners unless it is them. They grow up thinking they are entitled to everything everyone else has whether they do the work or not.

They grow up to be your neighbor, co-worker, boss, fellow citizen, Congressmen, Senator or President. Think about it. How do you feel the promotions in your workplace go? Have you seen people get away with poor work habits that others have to clean up or compensate for? Have you seen people promoted that were not the best person for the job? Do we do due diligence and really study the candidates for public office or we just go in and check boxes or vote for the incumbent?

And just like on the playground, if we are too lazy to do the hard work to work for the truth and what is right…..well we’ll just add more rules. We know everyone needs to be able to have health care but we won’t work on a fix so we will just throw the whole system out and everyone will suffer with a new one that is guaranteed to be full of just as many problems as the other one. We are the only country in the world where protecting and manning our borders is  “politically” incorrect. So we won’t enforce the laws, we will just make new ones.

Crap on top of crap. Lightworkers…..WOMEN…..you know the truth matters. No matter how far down we bury it, does not change one thing about it. It still is what it is. The deeper the crap, the harder it is to clean it up. The world will not change until we stand up for what is right. Treat the world as you treat your own home. Demand love, truth and respect. You can not change what gets put in your path. But you are in complete control on how you handle it. Perhaps “crap” is put in your path because you have the light of truth in your soul and the willpower and faith in your heart to shine it.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray…..know truth.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live your truth. Do what you know is write.
