For your consideration…….

You know it. You have been through it. You’ve made the same mistake. You can see it clear as day. To you it is as clear as the nose on your face. You can talk until you’re blue in the face and not be able to prevent someone else from making a big mistake.

Your child, sister or brother, spouse, cousin, friend, co-workers or even someone you don’t know very well could benefit from the knowledge and life experience you have. But you can not convince them. It seems as though you are falling on deaf ears. Or often in a child’s case they just think you are old and “you” just don’t get it.

It is frustrating. I am reminded of an accident we were in last week. It is like watching in slow motion knowing what the outcome is going to be and knowing it isn’t good.

Today our Guidance is in the same position with us. They are watching us worry and fret to no avail. We are told that our job is done when we have said or did what needed to be. Impart the wisdom and then we are to be done.

We all have free will. And we must stand down and let those life lessons be learned…..even if it is the hard way. Sometimes it takes crashing and burning for those life lessons to stick.

We are asked to do our best then let it go. It isn’t easy. But it is still all good.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate/pray….it helps when we are able to reach our own calm center.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Love yourself first.

What made me smile yesterday……

-A busy day at the club.

-Finally catching up with both my girls.

-Good service people.

-An absolutely perfect weather day.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
