For your consideration……
I love wisteria. I love the look of it and the unbelievable smell. There is a lot of symbolism and meaning in many religions and cultures associated with wisteria. Often it is associated with enduring love, the ability of the heart to endure and honor and respect.
Certainly all of that goes into today’s message. But there is more. We were given the wisteria today to remind us of our HOPE and promise.
The wisteria is a vine. It is tough and strong and loves to climb. Its blossoms are beautiful but vary from year to year depending on the conditions it finds itself….like our life journey.
We are adaptable. Our life journey has many twists and turns like the wisteria vine. But we continue to thrive and climb. Our life purpose continues to unfold and bloom season after season….some seasons better than others…..but none the less, we bloom.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…..
-Meditate/pray…..feel your inner peace and confidence.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Drink lots of water. Consider jump starting your body’s system with a cup of warm water each morning.
-Reflect on how far you have come….your life journey….thus far.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-Talking to both my girls.
-Biology.
-I forgot how fun High School Band is.
-An afternoon nap.
-An easy dinner.
