Punishment Is Man-Made

For your consideration…..

The Universe was created in pure love. The Divine Consciousness is pure love. Your God, whoever you call him/her, is pure love.

It is important for us to think about that so that we understand today’s message. “God delivers only love. Punishment is man-made.” Inherent to punishment is judgement. Judgement is from the ego. Our true compass, our authentic self, does not hold judgement because it is from and aligned with the Oneness of the Universe…..love.

So if you are brow-beating yourself  or others, give it up already. It is your ego talking. Ask what that is about then give it up for the highest healing for the good of all. Then you may want to ask that pesky ego to step aside.

Remember, you can always tell when the ego is in charge. If your thoughts, words or deeds do not make you feel warm and fuzzy, good and loving or good and right, they are from the ego. Your authentic self always feels right. Even if it is something you don’t want to do or say, it still feels right and loving.

We have free will so we can choose to judge and render punishment. Or we can choose to love ourselves, fellow-man, our Universe and our God. We have a choice. We always have a choice.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……

-Meditate/pray……be still and learn what your authentic self feels like. Follow its lead. It will not steer you wrong. It is your true compass.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take at least 10 deep breaths outdoors. Notice Mother Earth.

-When judgement bubbles up, release it. Let it go and ask the Universe to heal it for the highest good of all. It really is that simple.

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Teaching kindergartners in a beautiful charter school.

-We had lots of windows and lots of sun.

-A productive evening.

-Good chats with my Aunt Bev, Carrie and Sis Lori.
