For your consideration……

When I was given the message today, I was reminded of a conversation I had with my friend and mentor, Christine Tracy. Christine wrote the book “Newsphere”. While Christine is a brilliant writer and gifted speaker, it still took a lot of hard work, discipline and dedication to write and get her book published. One day when we met for coffee we were discussing the process of writing a book. In the course of the conversation, Christine said, “The only difference between me and anyone else is that I did it.”

How many times have we said we need a “…..” in this town, I should open one up.” You don’t and someone else does and is wildly successful. It is the same way with inventions. There is a problem, we recognize it, then someone else provides a solution and is an overnight success. The difference is “they just did it.”

The message today is just that. As we follow our dreams and life purpose, we are all given hints and ideas. People are put in our path who could help us. Whether or not we pick up the ball and run with it is entirely up to us.

We are also reminded, that if we do have the passion for our life purpose, resources will fall into our path as we need them.

We simply need to provide the energy and passion, our God will put the Universe at our disposal. That is the HOPE. And so it is.

P.S. So after I originally posted this message I keep  hearing “you forgot two things”. Specifically two examples. Normally I would just include them in the next days message. But it is clear I am not going to be able to move onto other writing until I add them today. Hmmmm. They must be important.

The 2 examples are this:

1. Make like Moses and “Take charge of the situation.” We have the power to command our lives. We have a choice(s). We always have a choice….should I or I shouldn’t . I could or I can’t.

2.Make like NASA. “Failure is not an option.” We get we expect because we create the energy for success or failure.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate/pray….ask for your life purpose, ask for your next step, ask for Guidance.

-Drink lots of water.

-Spend as much time outdoors as you can.

-Take in at least 10 deep breaths. Take in 2-3 as you need them throughout the day. Remember, deep breaths are our reset switch.

-Journal your dreams both from the dream state and wake state.

 

What made me smile yesterday……

-A relaxing, putzing, productive morning.

-Ahhhh rain for our yard.

-A beautiful sun filled afternoon at Stillwater.

-My friend, Jackie, is injured but her spirit and humor is intact.
