For your consideration…..

The title doesn’t sound HOPEful? I know. But as I continued asking what the message was about, I realized that it is indeed HOPEful because it is asking us to look at what we are scared of. And when we shine the light of our true reality on it, fear pales in comparison.

We all have fears…. big and little…..including me. Those who know me well, know that fear of writing is one of my majors. That’s probably why I was asked to write this blog. It forces me on a daily basis to write. It forces me to face my fear. It forces me to let go of the outcome.

Think about a newborn baby. They carry few if any fears. But as they grow they incorporate more and more of them into their life. Some are practical for self-protection but others are unnecessary and inhibiting. Typically those are those thoughts from the ego that cause all of the self-doubt and judgement.

A common reoccurring dream is one of being chased. If any of you have studied dream interpretation, you learned that the way to fix that dream is to stop, turn around and ask the chaser what they want? For those of you who have not studied dream interpretation, I urge you to work with it a little. We learn a lot from our dreams. Indeed we go to school, so to speak, as we sleep.*

The method for facing our fears in the waking is much the same. We just need to stop, look at them and ask the question “why”?

In many cases it is because we feel we are lacking. But why? Do we think it is an accident that we are here in this very moment? Do we think that God made a mistake?

Let’s just lay it on the table. You believe in a Divine Creator or you don’t. Some may say, “No, I am not sure if there is a God or Divine Creator.” Well the problem has been solved for you. You asked the question. You took the first step. That is all it takes to crack the door for him/her to jump in and wait for you to take the next.

So what are we afraid of? We are afraid of not achieving the “outcomes” we have put in place. But who said those outcomes we for our highest good? Who said they are the highest outcomes we can achieve? Our ego? Are we listening to our ego instead of our Guidance?

We do not know what lies in store for us. But we do know that we were created exactly perfect for it. We do know that we are exactly where we are supposed to be. We do know that we have everything it takes to get from this moment to the next in perfection.

We are being asked today to let go of the outcome. Let go of our fear. The message is “Do not be scared, be excited.” That is the HOPE.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…….

-Meditate….pray….it is the only way to get in touch with yourself and your Guidance and realize your total perfection.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths. Better yet, go for a walk.

-Drink lots of water.

-Have some fun.

-Face something you are scared of…..chase it off…..and celebrate.

-*On this webpage is a library/store that will take you to Amazon. On that page you will find “The Dream Book”. It is not a big book and not very expensive. But it is a simple and powerful tool. I have owned it for years. Indeed, my cover is different from the one that is on it now and mine is pretty beat up. But it is simply one of the best resources I have on my shelf. I and my daughter have both given it as a gift many many times.

What made me smile yesterday……

-Half of our new roof is done.

-Listening to the guys strategizing on a good way to invite a girl to the prom. I especially loved the young man who said, “I want to do something that she remembers for the rest of her life.” Now how can you not love that?

-My Sis is so smart.

-Checking in with Jackie and Jody.

-After many months Nick Vogt is being moved out of ICU. Our hero continues to amaze us. As I type this the tears automatically come. God has big plans for Nick.

-A trip to Stillwater for the weekend. Wahoo.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Chris
