Garbage

For your consideration…..

Today’ message is a reminder that we are meant to take care of our own garbage and not get caught up, deterred and trapped in other people’s.

We all have our own issues, our own paths, we are working on. We talk a lot here about staying in the positive and letting go of what no longer serves you. But whether consciously or unconsciously we can get embroiled in other people’s drama and garbage. And that is just as costly as our own.

Why do we do this? Sometimes we do this to avoid dealing with our own issues. Sometimes we do it because “misery likes company”. Sometimes it is because we are empathetic and just forget that we can not take care of other people’s garbage. It is their lesson. Sometimes we are programmed by other people or even the news into taking on business that is not ours to take on.

Please do not misunderstand. Volunteerism is good for our Soul. Helping one another step up into our Oneness is what life is all about. But we can cross a line when we take over someone else’s lesson or responsibility. Helping and listening are one thing, taking over is another because you destroy their opportunity to master a life lesson. And you put additional garbage in your own path that you now must clear.

Help. Be a good friend, co-worker, family member or citizen. But leave the core responsibility where belongs. Focus  on clearing the garbage on your life’s path. Work your own lessons. That is the HOPE.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take…..

-Meditate. Focus on clearing all negative energy and replacing it with positive energy.

-Drink lots of water.

-Take in at least 10 deep breaths outdoors.

-Focus on cleaning up one thing that has just been bugging you.

 

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Phone calls from both my girls.

-Awesome 6th graders.

-OK, I don’t care what anybody says, Halloween is fun. And the little ones excitement in dressing up to just heartwarming. Who can help but smile?

-Remembering Halloween when we were in Poland.

-My renter is out. I can now freely go to Stillwater whenever I choose.
