For your consideration…

Most of us have probably heard said, “Rain is the angels tears.” or “Rain is for the flowers to grow.” As a kid, you may have thought (I did) “Well which is it?” As an adult, we know that it is both because circumstance changes perspective.

Like most things in life, rain serves many purposes. And depending on our circumstances, we are soothed, saddened, joyous, playful, grateful etc. for the rain. In Michigan we have a saying, “Don’t like the weather? Wait a minute and it will change.”

That is how life is. Whatever is happening in this moment, is about to change. Our circumstances will change and so will our perspective. There is no need to dwell on the negative because the positive is right around the corner.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look on the bright side. If we can’t see it, don’t lose HOPE. It is right around the corner.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Up early to run errands.

-What a small world it really is.

-Several little naps to HOPEfully kick this cold to the curb.

-A new soup recipe was just the right things for supper.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
