For your consideration…

If asked, I would bet that every one of us would come up with a different list of great thinkers. Most of us would probably have a few of the same such as Albert Einstein, Gandhi, Confucius etc. But most of our lists would probably vary or be short because we haven’t given it much thought. Because of this blog, my list is probably longer than most. None of this matters because today we are not asked list who we think are the great thinkers. We are instead asked, “What makes a great thinker?”

Our message today is exactly this, “A great thinker’s ideas…theories…are worthy, doable and sustainable.

This definition is important because means that each and every one of us can be a great thinker. Indeed, we should strive to be a great thinker.

We are asked today to elevate our thinking in everything we do…one thought…one idea…one person at a time is how we change the world.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Practice being a great thinker.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A day off with no tasks that needed to be done.

-I had a recliner sitting in the living room not far from the front door for about a month. It really bugged me. Yesterday I had a thought, “If I can’t give it away, maybe I should sell it.” I went on Facebook to the marketplace and though, “Hmmm, maybe I should try this.” I was shocked that I got so many immediate responses. It was sold within minutes and picked up last night. Wahoo. I may be somewhat technology challenged but hey, I stepped out of my box and got the job done.

-Catching up with Alex and Jackie.

-Finished a book and started another.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
