For your consideration…

Isn’t he cute? Notice the relaxing pose and sweet intent face. He is perfect for today’s message.

We all have friends, family, causes, work etc. that we deeply care about. We are invested in them. We pay close attention to them. This is all good. But…yes there is a but because there always is a balance…it is important that we NOT get drawn into THEIR drama.

It is easy to do because we are passionate about them. We care about them. But their fuss, is not necessarily true….the whole story…or OUR fuss. Getting involved in someone else’s fuss only escalates and complicates it.

We should listen. That is the responsible caring thing to do. But then we need to take a step UP and look at it from a non-biased view. What is the fuss really about? Is it valid? Is it something I need to be in the middle of? Or is just listening my most valuable role.?

Today we are asked to make a conscious decision on whether or not we need to be involved in all the fuss.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask..”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Treat “fuss” with the attention it deserves.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A chill morning.

-A fun time with my friend, Pam.

-Seeing lots of friends. That is the up side…the balance…of sad events.

-Catching up with Alex.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
