For your consideration…

Today we honor those who serve, those who have served and those who sacrificed all.

We should ask ourselves, why. Why do they serve, why were they willing to give all? The reasons vary but for most it is for love of country and the people they love. Their love is so strong they are willing to risk their own lives to serve, preserve and protect.

At some point most of us ask why is it necessary? Why all of the conflict? Why can’t we just live and let live? Why can’t we just say, “We are not participating in any more wars?” The answer is because it takes two….everyone…actually to agree. Sadly, that means some people, leaders, countries etc. have to give up power, seeking power and control over their peoples. Power is like an addiction. Sadly, it is often the case where the more we have the more we want. And the vicious cycle continues.

Taking power from someone(s) creates an imbalance. We have had many messages about never giving our power away. This is on a personal level but we have to remember that steeling power also happens on a collective level as well ie; organizations, countries etc.

The imbalance is often between the masculine and feminine. Thus we have movements such as the “Me Too” and “NOW” etc. But even they can steal the power of others…men and women. We might hear celebration stealing power from men and denial that they steel power from women as well. Here is what we are asked to think about. As soon as we dictate who can and cannot join a movement, we are asking members to give up their power. No matter how noble the original cause, taking someone’s power is never ok. Women stepping into the male role is not the solution. It perpetuates the problem.

So what is the solution? When will wars end?

It is when the Divine Feminine stands up into her power and balances the Divine Masculine. It is when women step up into the power of the Divine Feminine ruled by intuition, HOPE, justice and Love. To do that they must be free…all over the world…women must be freed.

Which brings us full circle back to those who sacrifice for the highest good of all. We honor them today and thank them with our deepest gratitude and love.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is the next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Stand up and into your power.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Many tasks done.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Jackie, Shannon and my sister, Lori.

-An early bedtime.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
