For your consideration…

Is there anything harder to do than watch someone in physical or emotional pain and not be able to do something about it? We know we have the capacity to shoulder some of it but we can not do it. We  have limits to what we are able to do. Some things only those in the heavenly Kingdom can do. It is one of the things that define the physical and spiritual world. It is a capability we only get once we pass this world into the next.

So today we are asked to change our focus to what we can do. We can comfort by physical contact, listening, writing. We can help by taking care of the mundane but necessary tasks that sustain us in daily life. We can do that for others who are carrying heavy burdens.

We are reminded today that what we can do matters and to trust that the rest is being handled by the Divine.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?’

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Do what we can to help others.

What made me smile yesterday…\

-Ah, made it through the day with a tough class.

-No rain.

-Catching up with Alex and Jody.

-Watching Mac’s double-header softball games with Shannon and Will.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
