For your consideration…

Today’s message was delivered lighthearted. You know, just something to think about….not beat yourself up over…no judgment.

We are comfortable with comfortable. We are comfortable with same-o same-o. Many of us a have a comfort zone and we like to stay in it.

Life has a way of interfering if we stay too long. We expect that. We adapt to it. We grow.

A couple of my friends and I laugh because our husbands all do the same thing. They sit in the chair and watch TV, break for the bathroom and getting something to snack on, getting something to drink and meals. They only deviate from their routine for obligations like taking out the trash, going to doctors appointments or an occasional show and dinner out. They are retired and living their vision of it. They do not like to deviate from it at all. Most of us do not have that small of a comfort zone but we have our own version.

Our message today tells us to take a step out of it. Go for it. Do something unexpected or new. Add something to spice up our life. Do something that we want to or intend to do but have put off. Procrastination is lack of courage. Stepping out of our comfort zone takes courage. We have that. We have to engage it…turn it on. Small steps out of our comfort zone reap big reward not all physical. We reap confidence, knowledge, growth in body, mind and spirit and we realize our personal power.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Follow your Guidance. That is definitely stepping out of your comfort zone.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-I opened my eyes and thought what is all over the golf course. It looked like snow. I thought I was not fully awake but no, it was snow.

-Sunshine.

-Family home safe and sound from vacation.

-A good book.

-Finally found a new couch. It  has been a tough search. Unfortunately I had to replace our recliner also to get the room to coordinate. I spent more than I wanted but am excited to have it done and to have new furniture.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
