For your consideration…

There are a lot of great pictures with quotes I could pick but today’s message has an additional key component to accompany personal responsibility. It is accountability. Without much thought we may think these words are inter changeable but they are actually very different.

Personal responsibility is just that being responsible for your thoughts, words and actions in your life. Accountability is different. It is being answerable for them once you do them. Accountability is a response to those actions.

We know that our thoughts, words and actions have consequences. We also know that we need to be working our truth. We also know that we all have the talent to deceive ourselves and talk ourselves into things that we know aren’t exactly right. Today’s message reminds us that to every thought, word, and action there is a reaction….each and every one. So it makes sense that we make things right as soon as we can.

That is where accountability comes in. We like to think we can get away with things but we really can’t. Deep down we know that. We can’t make things right or better without first being accountable. We are reminded that accountability is not a punishment. It is an opportunity.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take….

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live your truth….take personsal responsibility…be accountable.

What made me smile yesterday….

-Bruce is getting better. We are absolutely where we need to be.

-His patient sitters are gone and the robot sitter is in. This is because he is getting better but he hates the robot.

-Well that was exciting….tornado watch…all patients had to be moved from their rooms into the inner hallways.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
