For your consideration…

Parents often joke about the “Why” question. It is the proverbial one word question of children. They ask it over and over and over again.

Our message today reminds us that we are never too old to be asking the “Why” question over and over and over again. We need to keep asking to keep growing. Continuous growth is key to our life purpose and a life well lived.

Children do not  think twice about asking anyone and everyone….who ever is available…”Why?” As we grow we become more reticent about asking others.

We have a second reminder today. It is just to make like children and don’t be afraid to ask others, “Why?” and also to pass on what we have learned. If we know the answer, if we have lessons learned, we should share them. Others don’t have to take them, (they have a choice, we all always have a choice), but we can give them a choice if we come forward with the answers we have found to our “Whys?”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Ask “Why?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Sunshine.

-Bruce’s followup with the doctor went well.

-Shower bars are installed and he is happy.

-We went out to a late lunch. A great start to the weekend.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
